16th District law maker to hold telephone town hall Feb. 1

Rep. Terry Nealey, R-Dayton, invites local residents to participate in a telephone town hall meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 1, from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The telephone town hall works much like a radio call-in talk show. Residents may dial-in to learn what is currently happening in Olympia, ask questions, participate in surveys, or just listen in. If you would like to join the conversation please call 1-877-229-8493 and enter code 15516.

“My main priority for the 2012 session is the budget. We need to come up with a solution to our state's projected $1.5 billion shortfall that is sustainable and prioritizes the important things,” said Nealey, R-Dayton. “However, after three weeks of session we have yet to even start the budget discussion. I'm frustrated by the slowness of this process and I think constituents are too. Having a telephone town hall with 16th District residents is a great way for me to hear how you are feeling about what is going on here Olympia.”

If you would like to join the conversation please call 1-877-229-8493 and enter code 15516. You can contact Rep. Nealey at (360)786-7828 or visit his Web site at houserepublicans.wa.gov/Nealey.
