Walsh and Nealey to host telephone town hall meeting April 4
People living in the 16th Legislative District are invited to take part in a community conversation Thursday, April 4 with their 16th District lawmakers. Reps. Maureen Walsh and Terry Nealey will be available from 6:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. to discuss the 2013 legislative session in Olympia and take questions from the citizens they represent.
To join the phone meeting, call toll-free (877) 229-8493, then enter pin number 15516. People can listen to the conservation, take part in poll questions or ask questions live by pressing *3 (Star 3) on their phones.
“I really enjoy being able to connect with so many folks at once with this technology,” said Walsh, R-Walla Walla. “Hearing from the people I represent is critical to doing my job serving them in Olympia. I’m excited to hear what’s on people’s minds and I hope we get a lot of participation.”
“This is an opportunity to reach thousands of people across the 16th District and discuss issues in the Legislature they care about. We have less than a month remaining of the session,” said Nealey, R-Dayton, “so it is an important time to provide an update and hear from citizens so that we can represent their wishes when we are taking these final votes.”
Those unable to join the call can contact their representatives in other ways:
