Reps. Terry Nealey and Maureen Walsh to host telephone town hall April 7

Rep. Terry Nealey and Rep. Maureen Walsh will host a telephone town hall for 16th District residents April 7. The hour-long community conversation begins at 6 p.m., and the dial-in number is (509) 885-9012.
During the call, participants can ask questions, participate in poll questions or simply listen in to the conversation as Nealey and Walsh provide an update on the 2015 legislative session. Once connected, anyone can ask a question by pressing the * (STAR) key on their telephones.
“We are at the point in the legislative session when budgets are being negotiated and the House is considering several Senate bills. We look forward to providing updates on what's happening in Olympia,” said Nealey, R-Dayton. “We also want to hear from folks and answer their questions. This is a convenient format that allows people to participate in the legislative process from their living rooms.”
“As the clock winds down on this legislative session, it's important we have the opportunity to hear from constituents and their views on issues before the state,” said Walsh, R-Walla Walla. “This is crunch time and the tough work of negotiating the operating, capital and transportation budgets between the House and Senate begins. My hope is that we will be done on time and we will be able to go home at the end of the month.”
The 2015 legislative session is scheduled to adjourn April 26.
